Q: Does your material work in countries other than the US?

A: All documents are currently written in the English language. You can translate the documents for other languages yourself as needed.

Q: My Word processor crashes or locks up opening documents?

A: This is usually an instability problem with the users computer. All of our materials are normal documents and do not cause problems themselves.

A crash or lockup is most likely due to a virus on your computer, low or out of memory due to memory leaks in various programs running on your computer or possibly by running a web browser version of Word rather than the full version.

1) Reboot your computer and keep the number of programs running at once minimal. This will solve the problem of fragmented memory in your system causing your Word processor to not have enough working memory. This is not a fault of any of our material, it is a normal occurrence of running various programs over time.

2) Instead of launching our Word documents by clicking on the links in our web browser interfaces. Run Word first by itself, then open the documents directly from the location they are stored on your hard drive. This will solve the problem of Internet Explorer locking up trying to open complex Word documents. This is not a fault of any of our material.

Q: Is your product a computer program?

A: Our kits are a collection of Word documents and original artwork graphics. You must have a Microsoft Word compatible word processor to use the Proposal Packs. You only need a graphics program such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or any program that can open Windows Bitmap (.BMP) format files if you are going to change the supplied graphics.

The Proposal Pack Wizard is a software application for use with the documents included in the Proposal Kit and Proposal Pack products.

Q: Do you have a Mac version?

A: Yes, our Word files that make up the products work on the Mac. You must have a version of Microsoft Office for the Mac such as Office X or Mac Office.

Note that the Proposal Packs and Proposal Kits support the Mac. The optional Proposal Pack Wizard is Windows only.

Q: Is this on CD-ROM?

A: The Proposal Packs are downloadable from the web site. You will be sent the download location and passwords after you place your order and we process it.

Q: How do we start using a Proposal Pack?

A: First start by reading the Documentation.pdf document, then the rest of the documents. Familiarize yourself with each document and the interactions with the other documents. Once you are familiar with the documents you can tailor them to your own business needs. Many documents use mail merge so you can quickly create cover letters, proposals, etc. for each client. Every business is run differently and has different needs. We have provided a framework for you to mold to your needs to create a business process by which you can gather information and make proposals more easily and consistently.
